This is an installation piece for my show Labyrinthine Earth. It is comprised of 6″x6″ blocks that are 1 inch deep. The sides are covered with the same beautiful papers as the pieces themselves. I am calling it Big Bang. I hope you can join my at the opening for my exhibit on June 7th at Galatea Gallery! The show will be on display from June 5 – June 30.
The artwork for my solo show in June is complete. I am sooooo excited. I love the colors. This picture, of course, does not do the work justice. It’s the best shot I could manage with them all arranged on the floor. If you want to see the full effect you will need to come to Galatea Fine Art and check them out in person. The opening reception is June 7th from 6-8. The address for the gallery is 460b Harrison Ave, Boston, 02118. Come on down, I would LOVE to see you!
Join us at Galatea Fine Art tonight for our First Friday reception in SOWA. Three fine artists are exhibiting: David Martsolf, Stephanie Angelo and Lola Baltzell. My piece, Autumn Sentinels will be on display in the member area. Enjoy the mild winter weather and come on down!

It’s been a tough New England winter and we’ve all probably spent a lot of time indoors this week. That is, except for the time we’ve spent shoveling and clearing our driveways! It’s Friday and time to break that cabin fever by getting out to the city. Tonight is First Friday in Boston’s SOWA. Galatea Fine Art is having an opening reception for an exhibit featuring the work of George Shaw – “The Sentinel” and Dominick Takis – “Recent Paintings”. The reception is from 6-8. Come on down and view the work of these talented artists. While you’re there you can check out my piece, Winter Ascent: Map 1, that is on display in the member area. There are lots of galleries to explore so come out and have some fun!
It’s December and time for the Small Works Show at Galatea Fine Art. Come find that perfect piece of art to make someones Christmas extra special. It was a lot of fun at Galatea last night. A good crowd turned out to see our member art and it was great reconnecting with some of the members I haven’t seen in a while. I brought along my own cheering section in the form of my in-laws and husband! Here is a photo of me, with my submission, Children of Lir, that my husband took.
There is another opening tonight at Galatea. It is the Members Show and I have a new piece of my art on display. If you are able, come on down. It will be a great night for walking around. You get to enjoy a wide variety of art, sip some wine, and nosh on some nibbles. What a great way to spend a Friday night. See you there!

I am also in two exhibitions of the Cambridge Art Association. There is a New Members exhibition at the Katherine Schultz Gallery on Lowell Avenue in Cambridge. The opening reception is Saturday, July 10, from 12-2 pm and I am showing my work, Illusion. Additionally there is an Art Fair at University Place in Cambridge with all works $200 and under. I have three of my postcards in the Fair. It is an opportunity to buy some beautiful art at an affordable price.
