Kathleen Hendrick was born and raised in Massachusetts where she continues to live and work. Although her energies were channeled into earning a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Bentley University, she continued to use her creative abilities to produce art. She began to pursue art in earnest in 2005. Kathleen enrolled in mixed media classes at the DeCordova Museum where she rediscovered her love of collage. For the next few years she continued to take classes and established a working art studio in her home building a body of work. Her work has been exhibited throughout New England and in 2008 she won first prize for Mixed Media in the Hudson Arts Alliance Fall Juried Show, Hudson, MA. In 2009 she had her first solo exhibition at The Gallery at Second Stage Studio in Cumberland, RI, curated a collage show at the Southborough Cultural Arts Center and took first place in a juried photography exhibit at the Cultural Arts Alliance, Hopkinton, MA. Kathleen is a member of the Cambridge Arts Association and Caladan Gallery. She is represented by Galatea Fine Art in Boston’s South End.
