Awash in Summer

It’s been so hard to find time for my art on this glorious fourth of July weekend.  Friday was spent at an amusement park and Saturday was spent at the shore culminating in a seafood dinner and fireworks.  I did do a bit of painting yesterday and I used the remainder of my palette paint to quickly create this miniature piece.  It feels like a wave crashing.  Hence the name – Awash in Summer – which I am!

    • Thanks, Leslie! You know, I am always fascinated by the different images that people see in my work. It’s part of what makes it so much fun.

      • This is my very favorite of yours thus far and I couldn’t even tell you why. It brought back memories of Niagara Falls, I think and that was a fun trip when I was young.

      • That’s so interesting. I did Niagara Falls when I was young as well. I remember my brother and I leaning to look over the edge of the bridge between the US and Canada and my Father (who’s afraid of heights) freaking out! I’m glad you like it.
