Garden Through WaterFall

This card was created using tape.  I laid it down on various scraps of paper, pulled it away, and placed it on the card.  The tape pulled away bits of color from the various scraps upon which it was placed.  Part way through doing this I began using a bright salmon colored piece of paper.  It was more fragile than the rest and more color and paper came up when the tape was pulled off.  Slowly I started “painting” or creating a shape with that color.  Once I had covered the entire surface of the card I felt as though I was viewing a garden through a waterfall because of the vertical, transparent lines left from the tape.  It has a very soft yet bright feeling to it.    I had planned to work over the surface of the tape, but decided against this because I liked the illusion I had created.
