Misty Spring Blooms

I started today’s postcard with a brown paper towel.  As you can see it came a long way from that humble start.  I colored on it with water soluble crayons and then blended those a bit with water.  From there I applied a sheet of tracing paper which softened the colors.  The tracing paper left texture which I lightly went over with turquoise ink.  Spring must be inspiring me to use bright, beautiful colors.
