Cuba brought to mind the Buena Vista Social Club whose music I enjoy. I also thought of warm weather, beautiful beaches and cigars. Hence I was so glad to find this picture of the Buena Vista Social Club that has the center man with a cigar in his mouth. I put a lovely beach in the background and a little piece I found that refers to Cuba as the “wild island of the Caribbean”. I have Brian thinking about his parents visiting Cuba as that is what my parents did at one time. What was it like then? I have no idea and really no idea of the year they went. Of course, I put this together at the last minute again. I was visiting college campuses all week with my daughter and could only mull over what I might do while traveling. Happy travels all! I can’t wait to start catching up on all the characters out there. 
i have no idea what this music is, though have seen it mentioned 3 times this week, it sure looks like a lot of fun though. I hope you had a good week with your daughter, I am guessing this was for her to choose a college to apply to? I hope the visits helped her make up her mind.
